Background
Panda Retail Company is a leading retailer in Saudi Arabia. The company wanted to establish an Investigation Unit that would be responsible to investigate and report on claims received from various employees.
Scope of Work
⦁ Develop an Investigation Manual governing processes to be followed to receive, investigate and report on a claim.
⦁ Assess the capabilities of a selected team members, and provide recommendations on whether they are suitable to become a part of the Investigation Unit.
⦁ Assist in developing a Whistleblowing tool for receiving and documenting complaints.
⦁ Develop a Whistleblowing Policy to help employees raise their concerns confidentially and without fear of retaliation.
⦁ Train the members of the Investigation Committee to become responsible for periodically receiving the status of all cases and provide guidance on actions forward.
Outcome
⦁ An Investigation Unit was established.
⦁ The Whistleblowing policy was distributed across all company units.
⦁ Significant increase in reported cases.
